Butterflies

I have a passion for butterflies. My hair is too curly, so I cant put them on my hair. Every time, I try, I have to cut a piece of hair. As stubborn as I am, I keep forgetting and keep trying. I have clothing, pendants, bracelets, etc. I keep searching the web for butterflies almost every day. I bought my last one, in Alaska. It is a dark pink swarowski butterfly. It cost half of what I can get it here in the States and is so, so, so pretty. I used a lot of butterflies, I shop at etsy every now and then. I bought all the Prima Marketing collection.
Here are some links in case you are interested:

http://www.butterfly-bazaar.com/ They sell different kinds of butterflies for different occassions. I bought from them and it was a nice experience.

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26724963 This is a link to Gabrielle Pollaco etsy shop. She also sell handmade butterflies.

Also from etsy, these sequin butterflies are just cuties: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26928651&ref=sr_list_10&&ga_search_query=butterflies&ga_search_type=supplies&ga_page=2&order=date_desc&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

This is a download product, but it is amazing. I downloaded and the tags are really pretty.

Prima Butterfly Deal: Also from etsy. This deal include about six huge butterflies, eight pebbles and like 36 small butterflies. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26755355

More sketches

The following two sites are my two absolute favorites. Probably, it wont be too important that they are my absolute favorite but they are.

http://www.lizqualman.blogspot.com/ This is Liz Qualman's blog. I love her sketches. Her kids are so cute that every time, she publishes an sketch and what she has done with the sketch (most of the time, pics of her kids), I feel like I have to create something.

http://52sketches52weeks.ning.com/ This site is Julie Bonner's place in ning com. I love her creations. They are simple, cute and at the same time festive. I dont know how to explain it, but the simplicity of the design make them so unique.

Sketches

I have to admit I am not the ingenious type. LOL. I need a guide and then I can develop something! If you give me paper and scissors, I will probably end up cutting squares, glue then together and make a big Eiffel Tower. When I was a child, I could never make a car out of a pile of Legos, so needles to say I need sketches. Here are my favorites places:

  • http://cis-stylish-sketches.blogspot.com/ Crafting in Style by Cysters Stylish Sketches. What I love about this site is that their sketches are color coordinated, for me thats easier. I am the type of scrapper that buy collection and use the collection as the manufacturers expect you to use it. Dont think I will go and get some Blue Bunny and try to match it with Prima. No way! Thats why I love kits! Thanks Pam for doing the job for me!
  • pagemaps.com I love the Basic Grey collection. You can go to basicgrey.com and check what other creative ladies have done.
  • http://www.pencillines.com/ This is another of my favorites. They post the sketch as well as what people create. Every Sunday they post a new sketch. I highly recommend this site.
  • Of course scrapbook.com has their own sketches library (http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/?type=other&page=1&vote=0&c=255) I think I used one a while ago. I am not a big fan of scrapbook.com. Maybe my small town mentality, but I prefer to shop in my tiny local store or at those other small online retailers. I have more fun. Is like with restaurants, the local mom and pops are my favorites.

Remember, these are my favorites, I will add some more later on. If you know about some other place feel free to let me know. Blessings for all!
